To accomplish our mission, we join with local leaders already active in their communities. In other words, they’re not waiting for us to begin — they already possess the passion and desire to see their communities transformed. These leaders are friends and partners in the fight against extreme poverty. They are our greatest resource, and without them nothing will change.

We believe children should have food, clean water, proper shelter, education, access to healthcare and economic opportunity that they may ultimately provide for their own families and communities with joy, hope and dignity. With your help, we are able to walk through the communities where we serve and see children attending school, clean water flowing through pipes and wells, parents providing for their own families, and churches filled with people who care for one another, including vulnerable kids and orphans.

In other words, they’re not waiting for us to begin — they already possess the passion and desire to see their communities transformed. These leaders are friends and partners in the fight against extreme poverty. They are our greatest resource, and without them nothing will change. Extreme poverty is a complex issue. War, natural disasters, and government instability can change the conditions in communities where we work in an instant. It would be foolish for us to assume that one day every situation will be 100% ideal, but they can be made much better. Each day we are committed to living out this hope.
